Midnight Indulgence and the Stay Home Club

midnight indulgence ;)

Not too long ago Olivia Mew created the Stay Home Club which mainly features artist designed pillowcases. When i kept seeing promo for it my jaw dropped and my heart swelled, i'm so fucking excited i've been invited to be a part of it!

Welcome to a world of confections and danger! But you know the deal. Take me home and eat sweets with me. Make it a party, invite your friends! ;)

the Tawdry Teapot

the Tawdry Teapot

This illustration was created for two super rad ladies of the Tawdry Teapot. They only really wanted two things. A teapot with their name, and a lady inspired by Divine. And as i'm practically a Baltimore native, i was (am) elated! Who doesn't love Divine?!

Their shop is dedicated to raunchy and kitsch memorabilia/ accessories. You can like them on their Facebook or go take a look at a few cute bows they have left!

Nerves

Nerves

Nerves. As in a bundle of. and of steel. You can be hesitant and afraid yet still kick some ass! Being fearless isn't the lack of fear, but acknowledging the feeling. Having lunch with it and telling it to go fuck off! Do what you want to do deep down anyway.

Go kick some ass! Want something bad enough, work hard enough, you'll get it.

Whoop! There it is! aka an awesome Booooooom! feature

Photobucket

Whenever people share my work or reach out to me i'm so damn happy. There was a day when I was afraid to fully express myself. To let all the bizarre and strangely erotic tendencies show. I'm glad to share my mind with you!

You're amazing and I hope you let yourself loose if you haven't already. There are people who will appreciate your weirdness i swear. And those that don't can kiss your ass! Seriously! Only keep people who love you around, you'll feel a miiiillion times better. xo

(Pssst, thanks Jeff! You're super rad and have awesome taste. That statement isn't biased, I swear. *cough*)

Oh and check out my feature, duhhh.

Wish you were here

Wish you were here

Wish you were here, watercolor and graphite. 8x10 inches, 2012.

The dull ache of missing someone close, but knowing it's for the best that they aren't there with you. Nothing has changed.

The static in front of your dreams

The static in front of your dreams

Your mood can quickly turn sour when you expect things to happen much quicker than they actually can. Take the time to dream up where you want to be in one, two, or five years.

What do you have to do to get there? Write that down. Have you been working on those things? If not, you'd better get going. The time you take to make excuses is time you could be getting shit done.

Go! Eventually you'll feel better.

Bust Magazine Interview

Photobucket

Emma Orlow, Bust Magazine blogger, contacted me for an interview and I was ecstatic to see very tailored questions. We talk about food, feminism, tattoos, and my childhood. And why the hell i chose my specific pseudonym.

It's been very fun! Go have a look.

Solestruck: First Time

The ladies of Solestruck are very witty.  I'm extremely glad to work with them and can't flippin' wait until our next project!

This time they released their first magazine ever, cleverly titled First Time. Take that any way you want it. Really. But they did send along some condoms with First Time themed packaging and some bitchin' temp tattoos! With my Burger Love art of course! ;)

It was the only choice.

There's an interview with Jeffree Star, so his majesty is looking fierce on the cover.

There's quite a lot of my art in there, plenty of pages to hold in your hands and admire. These just happen to be my favorite.

Celia of Ceedling (tumblr fame) has some photography in there as well as some polaroids of Toronto!

There are some cool Polaroids from people in different cities and really cool fashion photoshoots. I really recommend checking it out. It's only $10 to support it (and encourage future endeavors)!
